No gods, no masters, no reliance on Facebook

Thank you ever so, o Facebook

I complain about family and friend both in poor health; plus what a worthless batch of tossers my workplace management are.
Facebook really doesn't understand

And Facebook locks my post-editing capability and asks people if I'm at risk of self-harm or if my account is being compromised.
Well: fuck the walled gardens, Net Neutrality forever, RMS was right.

Here's my backup option, from back in the days when the web wasn't assimilated by the corporate fuckitude.

Et ses mains ourdiraient les entrailles du prêtre,
Au défaut d’un cordon pour étrangler les rois.

- attributed to Denis Diderot, "And his hands would plait the priest's entrails, For want of a rope, to strangle kings". Or, as others put it, "Men will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest".

You don't need to be living in a religious or royal country to have kings and priests to strangle and disembowel. You don't need to be living outside a "free" country.

We have them now - MBAs, executives, CEOs, FCC Chairmen, Presidents. The keepers of our walled gardens.
